1. 向學生發放新年禮物，并教學單詞“present”，在充分聯系后，要求學生拆開禮物，并大聲的用英語說出里頭的禮物，以此幫助學生復習上個學期的舊知，完成由上個學期至本學期的過渡。
2. 教學禮物之一：“bike”，并自編歌謠“bike,bike,bike,I like bike.”解釋單詞“like”的意思，帶領學生操練句型“I like bike.”
3. Do the actions.帶領學生邊做動作，邊說單詞，并以此種方式復習單詞“sing,dance,draw”，教學新單詞“swim,run，ride a bike”。引導學生用英語告訴別人自己的能力“I can ……”
4. Ask the question:“Can you sing?”讓學生猜猜看句子的意思，并嘗試回答，可能大部分的學生會使用“I can sing.”來回答，此時，教給學生簡單的回答方法：“Yes,I can./No,I can’t.”
5. Pracise in pairs.讓學生用同桌互問互答的合作方式，進行操練，并上臺演示。
6. 介紹Chen Ling’s uncle,同時教學單詞“uncle”，告訴學生Chen Ling’s uncle準備送Chen Ling一份禮物，引入課文。

2. Say the sentences:“I can ……”，讓學生說說看自己能做什么。
3. 說句子“I can sing,but I can’t swim.”解釋“but”的意思，并操練單詞“but,but,but,但是
就是but.”
4. 出示動物，如“rooster,monkey,duck,bird”,教學單詞“bird”,并讓學生用英語說說看，這些
小動物們都會做什么，不會做什么，嘗試使用“but”連接兩句話。
5. 角色扮演。指派學生上臺分別扮演不同的小動物，其他同學在老師的提示下用英語提問，
如“Can you swim,Miss Bird?”，被點到名的小動物必須如實作答。

教學步驟和方法建議
一、復習
教師出示圖片或食物，讓生說出英語單詞，以復習第一課至第六課的單詞。
二．做課本練習1
從每組選出若干同桌根據圖進行你問我答練習。如：
A:Can you lay eggs,Mr.Rooster?
B:No,I can’t.
三．做課本練習二的游戲
教師請一組生上臺，把貯備好的食物圖片任意發給他們，每人一張，讓生根據圖上所畫的食物和顯示的臉說出：I like----------;I don’t like---------.
四．做課本練習3
1.教師讓生用2分鐘的時間準備，請他們看圖默讀句子，理解句子的意思。
2.教師讓學生按角色分清對話內容，接著請學生按角色讀對話。

復習鞏固第七課至第十二課的內容,讓程度稍差的學生趕上進度。 復習與身體部位有關的英文表達法和與國家養動物有關的英文表達。
教具準備
人體掛圖，身體各部位名稱的單詞卡片或圖片，家養動物名稱的單詞卡片或圖片。
教學步驟
一 導入
教師宣布進行聽音表演競賽，以大組為單位進行比賽。全班同學起立，按教師的指令表演，做錯動作的人坐下。退出比賽。哪一組站著的人數最多，哪一組獲勝。教師問：Where is your face?（你的臉在哪兒？）同學們指著自己的兩只眼睛說：It’s here.(在這兒。)教師接著問:Where is your eyes?(你的眼睛在哪兒?)同學們指著自己的兩只耳朵說:They’re here.(在這兒。)以此形式完成所學過的人體部位。
二 做課本練習1“看圖說話”
教師把人體教學掛圖“My body”掛在黑板上,要求學生準確說出人體部位的英語.可以讓學生齊說出,也可以請個別說。 三 做課本練習2 “閱讀配對”
