T: That is good; we finally reached an agreement about all the things. Shall we sign the contract now?

T: We cooperate with other countries on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, and enjoy a good reputation in the international market. And we are long- cooperated friends. I think there is no need to add an arbitration clause in the contract. In case of a dispute, I wish we'd better solve them through amicable consultative way.

Y: What you said seems reasonable. It is to our mutual benefit to settle disputes through consultation. But also considering our good friendship, I think adding arbitration clause won't have any drawbacks. When no settlements can be reached, the fair arbitration awards can contribute our cooperation in the future.

T: That's OK. In case of dispute, we firstly settle it through consultation. If the negotiation fails, we will submit it to the arbitration court.

Y: I think just exactly the same way. Arbitration is the last resort when there is no alternative. Where shall we set the arbitration body?
